To sell us clothes, you must be at least 16 (or accompanied by an adult) and present a valid photo ID drivers license, passport, state or US military ID
What hours do you buy and trade?
We buy and trade all day, every day. You dont need an appointment. Our buyers are always ready to look at your clothes.
What is your return policy?
You have 10 days to bring an item back for exchange only.The tag must be attached and you must bring the receipt as well.
What is Drop-Off Buying?
If you are in a rush, you can leave your items at the buying counter and return to collect your cash or trade after 24 hours.

Trusty Threads sells fashionable, high-quality womens and mens clothing. We select only merchandise that we think our customers want to buy. This means that the items should be:
* current, fashionable and in-season
* clean and without spots, holes, or odors
* in good condition, with zippers that work and no missing buttons

Sorry we do not accept Kids/Baby
Examples of the brands we feature: Ann Taylor, Anthropologie, BCBG, Banana Republic, Caslon, Classiques, Gap, J. Crew, J. Jill, Ralph Lauren, Levi, Seven and so much more.
The garment types we accept are: blazers, tops, sweaters, pants and jeans, skirts, shoes,dresses, coats, jewelry, belts and scarves, hats and gloves, purses and vintage.
Sorry, we don't consign any of the following: furs, lingerie or undergarments, bathing suits, wedding or bridesmaids' dresses, prom dresses, costumes or business suits.
Things to Think About
Take a good look at each item you're considering for consignment and ask yourself "Why am I interested in selling/trading this item?"
If the answer is "It's a beautiful garment and I love it, BUT"
* it will never fit me again
* it's just not my color
* my lifestyle has changed and I'll never wear it again
* it was an impulse buy and it just isn't "me"
You're on the right track. Bring 'em in!
If the answer is:
* it's more than 3 years old (with the exception of vintage items)
* it's worn out
* it needs repair
* it looks dated or out of style
* it's not very good quality
* I just want all this old stuff out of my closet
Shoppers would feel the same way you do about these things so it's unlikely The Trusty Threads will accept them. You might consider making a charitable donation of these garments.
Preparing Your Garments
Clean and fragrance-free sells the best! The cleanliness and appearance of your garments is crucial. All garments must be freshly dry cleaned or laundered. They do not have to be on hangers, but neatly in a bag or box.
We urge you to check each garment in bright daylight for:
* soil/stains especially around collars, cuffs, underarms and crotch areas
* missing/loose buttons and closures
* torn/stained linings
* faded or uneven colors
* problems with zippers
* snags, pills in knitwear
* holes or tears, don't forget to check the seams
* lint or pet hair

My Fav Designer! Jean Paul Gaultier!
The rumors were true! Jean Paul Gaultier is doing a Target collection. It will hit more than 250 Target stores across the country and Target.com on March 7, and be available through April 11. Gaultier is the third established designer to do a collection for the mass retailer (after Alexander McQueen and Anna Sui) under the Designer Collaboration series. Target makes the designers in this series choose a muse for their collections. McQueen chose Leila Moss, Sui chose the girls of Gossip Girl, and guess what Gaultier chose?
Jean Paul Gaultier for Target pays tribute to the American woman, celebrating the forces of style both past and present in American pop culture, the retailer said.
So we all know who that really means: Madonna, whom Gaultier has dressed onstage for ages. We're hoping for pointy-bra tops, leotards, overalls, mesh crop tops, corsets — all the things chicks secretly want but can't in good conscious pay more than Target prices for.
