How to Be Stylish for Pennies
6 Tips for Finding Great Clothes:
1.Scout Neighborhoods
Each store's inventory comes from the surrounding community. If you're after higher-end, classic pieces, head to a fancy neighborhood. If you are looking for funkier, more trendy items, check out a college area.
2.Buy Brands You Know and Like
That way you'll buy pieces that work with what you have and will fit as you expect them to. But always try on: The previous owner may have had alterations done, which could turn what appears to be a size 10 into a size 8.
3.Know When to Shop
Mondays (Tuesdays at Trusty Threads) are good, because people clean out their closets over the weekend. And shop often: Most store roll out new merchandise constantly.
4.If You Love It, Buy It
Chances are, there's only one. "I've had people come in, fall in love with something and walk away," "They'll come back, sometimes in the same day, but it'll be gone." If you're on the fence because you found a piece that's almost perfect, don't be afraid to take it to the tailor for alterations. It's an easy way to turn a good find into a great one!
5.Inspect Carefully
Resale stores make every effort to buy clothes in mint condition, but people do make mistakes. Before buying, check for overly scuffed buttoms and try them on to be sure that they still feel supportive. Fabric like cotton and jersey tends to wear then. Hold the item up the light to inspect for worn patches or holes. Check unexpected areas for pilling, like the hips and underarms.
6.It Doesn't Hurt to Bargain
While stores will rarely lower the price on a new arrival, pieces that have been in the store for a while, or have damage from shelf life, like sagging or hanger marks, may be fair game for a markdown.

What hat fits your face shape?
Balance a round face with a hat that has a good, high crown and a decent brim
Oval Faces
Virtually any hat shape will suit an oval face, as the proportions of the face are even.
Square Faces
Floppy hats that have curvy lines work well to lessen the angles of the face.
Long Faces
A hat that has a wide brim will offset the length of a long face.

SKIN TONE COLOR MATCHING
Everyone looks good in certain colors; this is because each person has a unique complexion, hair color, and eye color. Wearing the correct color for your complexion will do wonders for you; you will look healthy and sharp. By following these seasons you should always look great in the clothes you wear.
First you must find what skin tone can be categorized as: cool, warm, clear, or muted. Determining your skin tone, eye color, and hair color will help place you in the correct season. There are four categories you can fall under: winter, spring, summer, and autumn. Each season will determine which collection of colors will look best on you.
WINTER
Winter skin tone is cool and clear.
People in the winter category will have very dramatic contrast from skin color to hair color. If you are a winter you will have porcelain white, yellowish-olive, or dark skin. Asians and Africans are often in the winter category.
The colors that will best compliment someone in the winter category are sharp and intense. The color swatches just below will look the best on a winter person. People in the winter group will want to avoid any shade of orange and brown, as they will make you look faded and ashy.
SPRING
Spring skin tone is warm and clear.
People in the spring category will have ivory skin, freckles, and rosy cheeks. They usually have blonde, auburn, or strawberry blonde hair.
Soft pale colors look best on people in the spring group. The color swatches just below will look the best on a spring person. Colors to avoid are dull, dark colors such as black and white. They are too harsh and contrasting, and they will wash you out.
SUMMER
Summer skin tone is cool and muted.
People with pale or pinkish skin color, ash blonde hair, and brown eyes fall into this category. They have strong skin complexion that will tan easily. Summers have low contrast between skin, eye, and hair color.
The colors that look best on people in the summer group are pastels, neutrals, and muted colors. The color swatches just below will look the best on a summer person.
Avoid intense colors and earth tones such as, black and orange. These colors are too harsh and will drown you out.
AUTUMN
Autumn skin tone is warm and muted.
They have light golden skin, dark eyes, and red or brown hair. They usually have golden hair with deep blue eyes. They tend to burn easily when exposed to the sun.
Autumn skin tones look great in earth tones that are rich and muted. The color swatches just below will look the best on a autumn person. You should avoid clear, bright colors such as pink and black. These colors will make you look faded.
